02.27.2024 “12 Songs in 10 Days”
I still can’t believe it. Just 3 weeks ago this record was only a dream scattered throughout notes and voice memo's in my phone. Now it is a fully fleshed out record, recorded in it's entirety. The goal was ambitious with only 10 days to complete 12 songs but the team rose to the occasion with grace and perseverance. I've been thinking about this album in terms of a creative burst of energy. It's not something sustainable just like sprinting isn't, but I wanted to approach it with that mentality of taking a short period of time and giving it 110%. I imagined a painter throwing everything he has at the canvas in a creative surge and then blacking out and waking up to find his work which was made in a blur of artistic rapture. Somehow we did it and everyone involved made a monumental contribution. Shout out to Nathan Cimino, Aaron Redfield, Sam Plecker and Jason Bennett. I couldn't not have done this without them.
There is still much to be done but the hardest part is now finished. Now the album is in the mixing process which I am hoping will not take more than a month. Then its time to master and finalize the visual art. I'm still glowing from those 12 days in the studio and still can't believe we did it. I am SO excited to share these songs with you all:)

02.01.2024 Days Before Recording
In just a few days I will be headed into the studio to record my third Full Length ALBUM. To be honest I’m feeling a mixture of nervousness and excitement. So many years of collecting ideas and writing go into these projects and of course the gammut of thoughts regarding the value of my art, fear of failure, the joy of creating etc., run through my mind. I am continually faced with the truth that my art would not exist were it not for the kind souls that have supported me to make the art. I feel a sense of responsiBILITY towards those who have helped along the way. TO you I say thank you. I will do my utmost to create an honest work that I am proud of and inspired by. I hope it brings a smile to your face. Joining me soon in the studio will be Nathan Cimino, Aaron Redfield, Sam Plecker and JASON BENNETT. I’ll be sharing updates from time to time about the process.
